The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the CDS-1 2026 examination notification on 10 December 2025 on its official website (upsc.gov.in / upsconline.nic.in).

🧑🎓 Eligibility Criteria (Basic)
1. Nationality
- Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came before Jan 1, 1962.
2. Age Limits

| IMA (Indian Military Academy) | 19–24 yrs |
| INA (Indian Naval Academy) | 19–22 yrs |
| AFA (Air Force Academy) | 19–24 yrs (with relaxations if applicable) |
| OTA (Officers’ Training Academy) | 19–25 yrs |

3. Educational Qualification

4. Marital & Other Conditions
- IMA, INA & AFA: Unmarried males only.
- OTA: Unmarried male & female candidates accepted.
📝 Exam Pattern & Syllabus Overview
The CDS written exam is offline (pen & paper) and consists of objective-type questions.

- SC / ST / Female: Exempted
