UTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

UTET-I (Primary Teacher) Classes I to V

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility conditions:

• 12th Pass with minimum 50% marks + D.El.Ed./BTC.
• 12th Pass with minimum 45% marks + D.El.Ed. (NCTE Norms).
• 12th Pass with minimum 50% marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed.
• 12th Pass with minimum 50% marks + Diploma in Special Education.
• Graduation + D.El.Ed./BTC.
• Graduation with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed.
• Shiksha Mitra + IGNOU D.El.Ed.

UTET-II (Upper Primary Teacher) Classes VI to VIII

Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Graduation + D.El.Ed./BTC.
• Graduation with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed./L.T./Shiksha Shastri.
• Graduation with minimum 45% marks + B.Ed. (NCTE Rules).
• 12th with minimum 50% marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed.
• 12th with minimum 50% marks + B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
• Graduation with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed. (Special Education).
• Graduation/Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed.

Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 Exam Pattern

UTET 2026 Exam offline OMR mode me ayojit kiya jayega. UTET-I aur UTET-II dono papers me 150 Objective Type Questions honge aur kul 150 Marks ka paper hoga. Har paper ko solve karne ke liye 2 Hour 30 Minutes ka samay diya jayega. Official notification ke anusar UTET 2026 me Negative Marking nahi hai.
